HiPP
Dutch Goat Formula Stage 2 (400g)
This is HiPP 2 follow-on formula based on goat milk (HiPP 2 Biologische Opvolgmelk op basis van Geitenmelk) as sold in the Netherlands and Belgium, so the 400 g tin is printed in Dutch and French. HiPP's label identifies it as follow-on milk for babies of at least 6 months, as part of a varied diet.
The ingredient list begins with skimmed goat milk, lactose, vegetable oils (palm, rapeseed, sunflower), skimmed goat milk powder and galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) from lactose, all marked as from organic farming. Lactose is the main carbohydrate named in the list. It also contains fish oil, and folate is listed as folic acid. The label says it is made in Germany. It also states that the formula contains proteins similar to those of cow's milk and must not be used if a cow's milk protein allergy exists or is suspected.
Made up as the label states, 13.5 g of powder with 90 ml of water (one 4.5 g scoop to each 30 ml): 68 kcal, fat 3.7 g, lactose 7.0 g, protein 1.4 g, GOS 0.5 g, DHA 13.6 mg. The full ingredient and nutrition panel is on the tin.
Follow the full preparation instructions and feeding table printed on your tin; this is a summary, not a replacement. The label says to use only the scoop in this tin, filled loosely and levelled, one scoop (4.5 g) to each 30 ml of water.
Powdered formula is not sterile. The CDC advises extra care for babies younger than 2 months, born prematurely or with a weakened immune system; ask your pediatrician how to prepare feeds for them. The tin is packed in a protective atmosphere; check that the packaging is undamaged before use.

Three things every tin tells you
Its own scoop
Use only the scoop packed in that tin, filled loosely and levelled. Scoops differ in size between makers and editions.
Its own table
Water per bottle and scoops per bottle come from the feeding table printed on that tin, by age.
Its own timing
Make each bottle just before the feed and follow the tin on how long a made-up bottle may stand.
Powdered formula is not sterile. The CDC advises extra care for babies younger than 2 months, born prematurely or with a weakened immune system; ask your pediatrician how to prepare feeds for them.
Before the first bottle
Each maker sets its own scoop size and water ratio, and editions of the same formula can differ. Use the scoop that comes with your HiPP tin and that tin's own preparation table, never another brand's or edition's, and ask your pediatrician about preparation.
