Three things every tin tells you

Its own scoop
Use only the scoop packed in that tin, filled loosely and levelled. Scoops differ in size between makers and editions.

Its own table
Water per bottle and scoops per bottle come from the feeding table printed on that tin, by age.

Its own timing
Make each bottle just before the feed and follow the tin on how long a made-up bottle may stand.
Powdered formula is not sterile. The CDC advises extra care for babies younger than 2 months, born prematurely or with a weakened immune system; ask your pediatrician how to prepare feeds for them.

Your pediatrician first.
Breastfeeding is recommended. Talk to your pediatrician about feeding your baby and before you start or switch formula. Special formulas (HA, anti-reflux, comfort) are for a need your pediatrician has named.
